3 Small Living Room Hacks to Maximize Your Space

1. I use my sofa as a room divider. Mine is the Floyd two piece sectional, so I have the freedom to move them around to however I see fit. The two pieces used to be next to each other at my previous apartment, but they’re placed at 90 degree angle with once positioned near the center of the room. It creates a separation since my bed is in the same room as well.

2. I use a rug to separate the living to my sleeping area, and this trick works every time. My rug is also from my previous apartment. It’s a 5 x 8 ft from CB2.

3. I use a large floor mirror to help reflect light and create an illusion of a larger space. I have a separate post on my account where I review this mirror, so be sure to check it out. It’s a functional and design piece that I think does a lot more than just sitting pretty. Highly recommend going for the largest highest quality one you can afford.
