Ideas to Host Your Birthday Dinner At Home

Here are some of my birthday party essentials or things you’d need for your next party at home.

A cake (custom cake usually would need to be reserved a few days in advance)

A cake stand

Candles for the cake

A variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. I’d recommend a splurge if there’s a wine bottle you’ve been wanting to try. Or if your guests are bringing wine, then it’s a great time to try them together.

Decorative items like fresh flowers and balloons

Snacks and candies

Party favors (optional) - I’d recommend something edible like special candies and chocolate. I did Baggu tote bags, and everyone loved it. Polaroids are great ideas, and I think people would be happy to take photos and keep them around, too.
