Labor Day at The Creek

Under the sun, on this Labor Day,

We gather by the creek where the waters play.

The kids laugh loud, their voices bright,

Skipping stones and splashing light.

A blanket spread, a picnic feast,

Sandwiches, fruits, and treats increased.

Cool breezes dance through leaves of green,

Nature’s lullaby, serene and clean.

Little feet run through the shallow stream,

Chasing minnows in a summer dream.

The world feels still, the worries fade,

In this moment of joy, we’ve got it made.

Together, we rest, breathe in the day,

As time with the kids gently slips away.

On Labor Day, we find our peace,

In love, in laughter, our sweet release.
