These are 5 of my go-to channels to watch on YouTube whenever Iโm feeling stressed or just want to empty my mind.
1. Her86m2
I started watching her gardening vlogs a year ago. I enjoy the cinematography, video quality, and perspective she shares of her slow-life in the rural European countryside. It has a very healing effect on the soul.
2. Eckhart Tolle
Iโve shared his books on my past lemon posts. He is the author of the bestseller โthe power of nowโ self help book. He talks about unique life perspectives and gives guidance that normal people wonโt even care to think about or realise. His teachings are similar to Lao Tzuโs โTao Te Chingโ. Itโs a great channel to watch if you want to break free from the constant anxieties and live in creation mode instead of survival mode.
3. Dianxi Xiaoge
She shares the culture and food of her hometown Yunnan. I like to watch her lovely family interactions and cute grandparents. Her videos are similar to Li Zi Qi. She literally makes all the food from scratch (from growing to harvesting to cooking). The main highlight of her videos (for me and a lot of people) are her dogs Da Wang and Lai Fu. They are soooooooo adorable and smart.
4. Plan D
She is a Korean vlogger. Her vlogs are not cinematic like the rest but thereโs a certain aesthetic to her style. She cooks restaurant style food at home and makes beautiful garments and accessories. She once made a stunning phantom of the opera gown!
5. Nekoniwa
Watch her videos for super aesthetic slow living lifestyle (and cute pets) in Japanโs countryside. Her videos are like real-life Ghibli films. Itโs a whole new level of romanticising your life.
