Hello! Today I am sharing 3 of my favourite self-help books of all time. Be it for self help or to get yourself out of sticky situations, it all boils down to perfecting your mental health.
1. INTO THE MAGIC SHOP
This book is like a biography of it’s author Dr. James R Doty. It’s about his struggles of coming from a troubled family and his arduous journey of becoming a doctor. One day, he met this woman called Ruth who changed his entire life. She taught him compassion, manifestation, and how to achieve his life goals. All these are shared in the book. After all, everybody needs a Ruth in their life.

2. THE POWER OF NOW
Do not be thrown off by the term “spiritual awakening”. It has nothing to do with religion. Truthfully, it simply means being conscious in the present moment and taking control of your mind. You know those little thoughts in your head? They are not real. Most of the time, they do more harm than good. This global bestseller by Eckhart Tolle teaches you to always be conscious in the now and seize every opportunity you have in the present moment.

3. THE ALCHEMIST
This book is way more than a pretty prop. I have seen too many people getting this book just for posing in photos. It tells the story of a Shepard who went through countless obstacles while in search of his gold. It talks about why things happen in your life (kinda like the butterfly effect) and how to learn from your challenges.

As you can see from the photos, these books are pretty old and worn. They have been with me for a long time. I have reread them countless times. As you are more awaken each day, you will find new meanings each time you read it again.
