As we enter the season of fall, I love the idea of perching up in my reading chair and reading a book. Here are my essentials for the perfect reading nook:

🪑Reading Chair: a perfect reading nook has to include a comfortable reading chair. Mine is the Womb Chair, a score from Facebook Marketplace. The chair cocoons you so you feel like you are nestled in a womb. And the ottoman is perfect for you to stretch out your legs.

🛋️ A Warm Lamp: A warm, soft-glowing lamp creates a cozy ambiance. Mine is the “Donut lamp” aka, the IKEA VARMBLIXT lamp. While you need sufficient light while reading, you don’t want harsh lights.

📖 A Book: Seems obvious. But I love my Kindle Paperwhite. I used to be terrible at finishing books until I got my Kindle. It is almost Amazon Prime Day - perfect time to get one!

🛌 Throw Blanket: A soft, snuggly throw blanket is a must for chilly fall evenings. Drape it over your chair so it’s always there for quick access..

Candle: just to set the mood. And have the space smell good.
