6 DAYS IN ARUBA

Our trip to Aruba was a delayed honeymoon (2020 wedding problems), and we had a blast! We slept in, lounged on the beach, drank endless cocktails, and ate SO much delicious food.

Here are some things we did that we don’t regret:

• All-inclusive package: we heard mixed reviews and opinions on all-inclusive resort stays, but for what we wanted—relaxing on the beach—it was perfect.

• Spending all day at Flamingo Island: only accessible via boat transfer, we LOVED Flamingo Island. Because we stayed at the hotel that owns the island, the boat ride was included in our stay, so it cost nothing for us to ride there as many times as we wanted.

• Spending a day to see the island: we rode around on an ATV to experience the unique terrain of Aruba (tropics AND desert). It was so beautiful!
