my go-to glossy brown lip tint! 💋

if you’re obsessed with lippies, you’ve probably heard of Peripera’s viral Ink Moody Glowy Tint . i’m personally a fiend for nude & brown shades, so when they added brand new colour #brownhaven to their 2022 winter collection, i couldn’t resist. after months of ACTUAL USE, i can confidently say, this lip tint has been an absolute fave i have been reaching for. ☁️☁️

💋 formula:

the formula is lightweight, not sticky, and decently pigmented. there’s a mild scent (i think it’s vanilla? but it also kinda smells like milk toast.. idk it’s not very intense). it’s definitely not as juicy as a lip gloss (bc it’s not one), it does what the name suggests and leaves a really pretty sheen on your lips. it does dry down to a noticeable pretty tint too!

💋 colour:

#brownhaven is more of a mauve shade with a warm brown hue, giving that yummy “your lips but better”, shine. it’s easy to wear and looks great with both an everyday makeup look & a full beat.

💋 longevity:

as with most “wet”-looking formulas, this product is neither smudge nor mask-proof, but thankfully, because it IS a tint, you wont be just stripped of colour. you will need to reapply after eating, but from my experience, it doesnn’t get crusty so it’s no biggie.

🌟juicy tips:

for best performance, moisturise your lips first so your product can be applied smoothly and evenly to a non-crusty surface. when i personally want a juicier shine, i layer this product with r.e.m. beauty’s plumping lip gloss in the shade scrunchie (i love it sm, but i’m kinda thinking of trying the fenty hot gloss bomb chocolit.. will keep y’all updated). if you want that bratz plump, consider lining / mildly-overlining your lips with a dark brown lip liner to give it extra dimension.

i highly and genuinely recommend this lip tint! if you look closely, you’ll see notice i’m about to run out of product and am due to repurchase again HAHA 🥴 if you’re not into nude-brown shades, the Ink Mood Glowy Tint has many other colours with the same formula.
