Testing and Rating 2 Viral Lipglosses

Testing and rating Rhode and Summer Fridays… are they worth the hype? Which is better?

1. My first impression of the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment was that it was slightly grainy… I am sure this is to exfoliate the lips but I am personally not a fan of that texture. However, it is a perfect gloss to put on top of your favorite lipliner or lipstick as it is thick and long-lasting and appears super glossy. My overall rating is a 7/10.

2. Though it is $6 more expensive than Rhode, I have to say I like Summer Fridays better. First of all, it smells heavenly with a stronger vanilla smell than the Rhode Peptide. It also has a nice natural beige/brown color which enhances the color of natural lips while also giving them a glossy look. The applicator is the perfect size, creating a smooth application perfect for on the go. Overall, I like the Summer Fridays better and think it is worth the extra few dollars, I give it a 9/10!
