My entire life I have fluctuated with my weight and body fat. I have PCOS and I honestly let go of my self when I went to college (and before that too). This is how I lost the weight
🤍1. I started to move. I found ways to make movement fun and to make movement right for me. The hobby I picked up and enjoyed the most was bouldering (indoor rock climbing). It made moving my body a fun activity. I also danced, went on walks and runs, went to the gym, etc. I also did this with friends to make it easier.
🤍2. Guys I cut my calories. It’s part of the process. It has to be done. You don’t need to be in an insane calorie deficit you just NEED to be in a deficit. A healthy one.
🤍3. I made food swaps and most importantly I made cooking FUN. Cooking for myself rather than going out allowed me to truly know what was going into my food. I got to experience with vegetables, make things homemade, and it became one of my most favorite hobbies.
🤍4. I had days where I let my self enjoy my favorite foods. And NO this was not the same as my old binge days. These were days where I let my self indulge in dessert I had been thinking about all week, or treating myself to pizza after a really hard exam.
🤍5. I had to stay disciplined. I had to remember that no matter how motivated I was, that would do nothing for me.
I have recently put on about 8lbs and I want to get back on track. I plan on reaching 130 by December. I have done this before and I can do it again. Join me on my journey and let’s do this together. I’m posting recipes, meals, workouts, and hard truths!
