my go-to nail prep

i learned to do my own nails during quarantine and one thing that i struggled with early on was getting the right nail prep! my gel x nails kept popping off after a few days but now i've found the perfect prep that keeps my nails on for 2+ weeks (and it's affordable too!)

1) nail dehydrator: dehydrator is a key factor in getting your nails prepped for application! it dries out the nail plate of any excess oils from your hands so that the primer and gel can adhere perfectly

2) nail primer: ibd primer is the best primer i've used! it holds my gel x or regular gel SO WELL that i have nails lasting up to 4 weeks! if you want sturdy nails- get this!

3) beetles gel x glue: this is my favorite gel x glue because it's cheap! it honestly works as well as any other gel glue out there so save yourself some money and get this :)
