🇲🇾Ikea Swedish Restaurant 🧆

My friend always says that IKEA food is like canteen food and that we can get better options elsewhere for the same price. I totally agree. But for some reason, whenever we go to IKEA, we always end up eating at the restaurant. The food is not spectacular but still kinda comforting I guess. Or perhaps it’s just part of the IKEA experience? 😆

The OG meatball, it taste even better when you eat these by cutting them in half, dipping them in mashed potatoes, then dipping them in lingonberry sauce. The meatballs were supernaturally soft, juicy, and savory-sweet, they harmonized with every element of the plate😋

The mushroom soup tasted homemade and were the perfect consistency: hearty but not gloppy. The garlic bread was mediocre, grilled to hardness on one side and soft on the other.

Fried chicken wings were fantastic! First impression of the IKEA chicken wings was good. Looked evenly browned on the outside. We couldn’t wait to dig in and it definitely did not disappoint! It was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Other dishes we ordered include:

Lasagna (I love the cheesy crust but the serving temperature can be improved, it’s a bit cold)

Chicken Chop (it has this strange after taste🤨)

The price is slightly on the higher side and you can find better options elsewhere for the same price. But I would recommend to try the chicken wings and meatballs.
