7.7 skincare buys!!

hello hello my 🍋 8 friends! happy mid-week & it’s anna back again. today’s #storytime will be related to my love for skin1004 ❤️😍 #skincare!! i have sensitive skin but none of skin1004 products have broken me out before. here’s my 7.7 purchases (skincare edition), restocked some of my favourite skincare products & brought some new products from #SKIN1004 to try! (all purchases are from their official store on shopee! i’ll not state the prices as i got them during the 7.7 sales! but i highly recommend to wait for sales period)

my skin type —> sensitive, combination + slightly acne prone

01. light cleansing oil (200ml) - 5/5 ⭐️

my personal favourite cleansing oil! great for everyday double cleansing routine / light make up removal 🤩！honestly, i haven’t try many cleansing oil in the market but after i tried skin1004 cleansing oil, i never once thought about changing it. when you use it, you really can feel and see 👀 (#RealTalk) the gunks/ sebum coming out 👏🏼👏🏼! after washing it off, your skin feels smooth and clean but not drying 😍💯!

the main benefit:

remove excess dirt and oil while leaving skin moisturised

how to use:

• apply a few pumps onto DRY face with DRY hands

• gently massage in circular motions to dissolve makeup and gunks

• add a little bit of water and continue to massage to create a light and milky emulsion (important step!!)

• wash off completely with lukewarm water

• cleanse your wash as per normal (100% recommend double cleansing)

• followed by your usual skincare routine

02. probio-cica intensive ampoule (50ml) - 4.75/5 ⭐️

skin1004 centella ampoule (product 6) used to be my favourite ampoule but this have now taken over the position 👑!! i’ve sensitive & slightly acne prone skin and this product have really improved my skin barrier and calm my skin (my random painful acne (big & small) have reduced significantly) ❤️!! it absorbs well and it’s not sticky. the only downside is this product is much more pricer as compared to their usual centella ampoule.

the main benefit:

nourish and boost skin microbiome to rebuild a strong skin barrier.

how to use:

• usually after toner and before cream/moisturiser

03. probio-cica bakuchiol eye cream (20ml) - 3.8/5 ⭐️

been using for 1-2months (same time as the ampoule) but honestly haven’t seen much result. i did notice my dark circles is less obvious but im not sure if its because im on holiday and i sleep more than usual 🤦🏻‍♀️. however, i understand that fine lines won’t be so easy to reduce, hence i’ll continue using it and update if there’s a difference! however, i love how its not sticky and its absorb be try quickly into my skin.

the main benefit:

with the natural anti-aging ingredients, it help to reduce visible wrinkles and dark circles.

how to use:

• usually i put them after all other skincare products but before moisturiser.

04. ampoule foam (125ml) - first time try!

what it promised:

• 92.69% dust removal (deep cleanse)

• softly cleanses the skin without causing irritations

• provides calming care and strengthen skin barriers

• maintain skin balance

05. probiotics-cica enrich cream (50ml) - first time too

what it promised:

• leaves skin feeling silky and moisturised

• improves skin barrier

• anti-aging care

06. centella ampoule (55ml) - finished my 2nd bottle
