Moving Across Country

I moved across country for college and this is why.

I was born in Alaska and moved to Arkansas when I was a baby. I grew up going to Alaska but I was never here for more than a month. I have family a couple hours away that I get to spend time with that I wouldn’t have been able to.

But other than that the school I chose has a really good culinary program and the best kitchens I have ever been in. My father also taught a couple classes in the kitchen I am going to be studying in.

I came here not knowing anyone at the college but I have already met some really cool people. I am excited in my journey and excited to see where I venture off to.
