Why I make art

What inspires me to make art? Sometimes it's a purely selfish endeavor of wanting to express myself. Most of the time though, it's my way of trying to bring happiness and joy into other people's lives because I know with everything going on in the world, there's nothing like looking at a painting that has so many bold and beautiful colors to bring a smile to someone's face. That's the magic of the arts. It's so encompassing in emotions and it brings hope when everything feels dire.
