analogue photobooth for $4 !

my friend and i recently went to the cathay to check out the analogue photobooth that we saw people on tiktok call SG's photobooth by bryant 🤭🤭

located on the 5th level of the cathay, projector x: picturehouse is a vintage movie theater that screens classic movies and films!

sadly, we weren't there to watch any films but we wanted to try the popular photobooth located there by fotoautomat.

i'm going to start off by saying that this photobooth is really designed for 2 people max. so if you have a friend group of 3 and more, the photobooth is definitely not spacious enough. my friend and i were already slightly struggling with only 2 people.

NOTE: remember to bring four $1 coins as the machine does not accept notes or any other coins. my friend and i were short of another $1 coin so we went to the projector x counter and exchanged two 50¢ coins for a $1 coin.

there are instructions inside of the photobooth stating how you need to adjust the seat and fix the background before inserting your coins. afterwards, the photo strip takes around 4 mins to develop and it comes out a little wet.

my friend and i were a bit shocked and confused on the first one so that photo did not really turn out well oops.

overall, it was a really fun and special experience and i would definitely bring my other friends here to try it out <3
