Cut down your spending with these tips!

Hi guys! Have you ever gone grocery shopping and realized you spent more than you intended to? Well, here are some tips to remember for the next time you go:

1. Always check your fridge and pantry, and make a list of the items you really need.

2. Eat first before going out. You'll be tempted to grab unnecessary food to eat like sweet buns if you're feeling hungry.

3. Leave your kids at home! It's hard to say no to them when they beg for extra sweets and snacks 🥹

4. Keep your eyes open for deals and clearance sales. I love to check the clearance shelves first, but make sure to check the expiry dates.

5. Avoid shopping the middle shelves where stores usually put the most expensive and popular brands. Cheaper alternatives are always higher or lower than eye level.

6. Skip the brand names and buy generic or store brands. Lotus have a wide selection of items to offer at affordable prices, they're worth giving them a try!

7. Don’t browse the isles looking for other items you don't need. Stick to your list and leave.

8. Pay attention at checkout, especially with sale items. Cashiers are humans and can make mistakes when scanning.
