No fancy wall treatments!

Hi decor lovers!

Do you have a wall in your home that's too empty? Well, here's how I decorate my blank walls without any fancy wall treatments like trendy wallpaper or wall panelling. They're cheap, easy and rental friendly too!

A gallery wall is a great way to fill up an empty wall while bringing character to a space. There are many styles and layouts to choose from like grids, eclectic and vintage. In my dining room, I purchased a set of 3 art prints of an abstract landscape from Etsy and framed them up in these black minimalist frames from Shopee 👍🏼

A large mirror can fill up a blank wall and can also help make a space look more spacious by reflecting light. If you have a focal point facing your empty wall, I suggest you use a grand floor mirror to lean on the wall and voila, you get two beautiful views in one! 😉

In my open concept layout, I used an artificial tree to break up the long empty wall between my living and dining. I couldn't find a tall enough tree that's to my liking and budget, so I made one myself for under RM200! 😊

For an awkward corner, use a pedestal to display decorative items like a vase or candlesticks. I customed mine from Shopee and I love it so much because it's a Mcgee & Co dupe! 😍
