I love our open concept living because it makes our home look spacious and encourages easy interaction between family members and guests. But if you want it to look less open and cozier, try these tips below:

1. Choose a neutral color palette dan pilih accent colors to tie in the spaces. Apabila warna yang digunakan berulang dari satu ruang ke ruang yang lain, your open space looks more cohesive dan lebih sedap mata memandang.

2. Quick and easy to change, rugs are a great way to define areas within a large space and warm up your open concept floor plan. Pastikan corak design rugs yang bersebelahan tidak clash, have one rug in a plain muted design if your other rug is already busy with an organic or geometric pattern.

3. Add layers and texture in your open space to make it look and feel cozier. Selain daripada rugs, throw pillows and throws can easily add pretty colors and texture. Gunakan bahan natural seperti kayu, rotan, kulit, linen dan marble dalam memilih perabot dan barang dekorasi.

4. Create smaller nooks to make your space look cozy and inviting. Add an accent chair in a corner together with a pretty side table for that extra seating option.
