65 foot deep hot spring!

Walking into this 55 foot tall limestone dome feels like you have time traveled into some prehistoric secret, and then opening up above a 65 foot deep hot spring it almost made me nervous about getting in!

Homestead Crater is like nothing I have ever experienced before, and once the nerves of this hauntingly beautiful place melted away it was more peaceful then I could have ever dreamed.

No wonder people say the water is healing!

Reservations are required to visit the hot spring and you can choose between a two hour swim, scuba diving, or SUP yoga.

We chose to swim and it was such a crazy experience being in a hot spring that is so deep that we couldn’t even see the divers beneath us exploring the bottom of the spring.

The 55 foot tall dome was formed from the water pushing pushing minerals to the surface of the water, over 10,000 years it formed the incredible beehive looking formation that we have today that only has a hole at the top that allows you to see the sky above.

This place is an experience like no other and is absolutely worth the place on your bucket list!!
