glamping review: Getaway House (+ discount code!)

I wouldn't consider myself a camper, but definitely more of a "glamper" and one of my favorite places to get the glamping feeling is Getaway House. They have 3 different "camp sites" located 2-3 hours from NYC so you can escape the hustle and bustle. Here's what it's like staying there:

10/10: Tiny homes. The main selling point for me are these massive windows that look out onto the woods. Each cabin is positioned in a way where you can't see your neighbors so they feel really private. Big comfy beds and a big screen view of nature.

9/10: Kitchen + bathroom. The rest of the home is outfitted with a kitchenette, small dining table, full bathroom with stand-up shower. Giving it 9 stars because it's a littttttle tight if you're two people staying for a few nights + we kept setting the smoke alarm off when we cooked haha but it definitely has all the necessities.

9/10: No wifi or TV! I actually love this concept and prefer to disconnect, which is Getaway's whole mission. Forcing you to reconnect with yourself, your travel companion, and nature. Took off one star because I wish they included more board games!

10/10: Location. Each outdoor area is complete with a fire pit, fire wood and fire starters, and Adirondack chairs. Whether you're enjoying the view from inside or sitting around the fire outside, you really feel connected to nature.
