1. La Colina – can you believe this is in New York? 😱 Trust me, it’s not a countryside in Europe, it’s Goshen! La Colina is a country estate where the guest rooms were once sheep sheds that have now been modernized into these gorgeous, rustic, minimalistic suites.

2. Habitas-on-Hudson – Two hours from NYC you’ll find this brand new hotel from the Habitas family. It’s a countryside retreat and playground for the curious. 3. The Woodhouse Lodge – this is one of my favorite places to stay upstate! This mid-century modern hotel is tucked in the hills of the Catskill Mountains. With just ten rooms, it’s like your own private escape on 4 acres of tree lined lawn that includes a garden, picnic tables, and chic seating areas. 

➡️Top amenities: hammocks and fire pits, complimentary s’mores, and a must-visit restaurant that serves up creative pizza and small plates.
