The Gods are Gone, but We Remain 🤫

Daughters of Nri was an astounding feat of world building and mythology. Each time I opened the book, I was fully immersed in the story as if I were a character within the narrative.

The plot of the novel is that gods have abandoned humans to their own devices after a man named the Eze ripped out the Mother Goddess’s heart, which was known as the Ndu Crystal. Hundreds of years later, two female twins are born and separated to keep them safe from the Eze’s wrath (he outlawed twins). Years later, the girls discover that they both have powers and can defeat the Eze to restore balance to the world.

I urge you, please give this obscure book a chance—you won’t regret it!

P.S.—I am truly sorry for the long hiatuses between posts. I started college a few months ago, and the workload sometimes inhibits my free time.
