RATING RETINOLS I HAVE USED

I have been using retinol, honestly, for a good couple of years but I was in a bit washy wash about the frequency that I was adding it to my skincare routine. However, in March I started being a bit more self-conscious about acne scars since my acne started doing much better. I started with 0.05% and it was alright, my skin got super dry at the beginning, then I started trying new retinols. Obviously, Retinol takes a bit of time to work on your skin, and by far my favorite has been the Real Retinol Serum from Neogen, it honestly hasn’t died my skin AT ALL, knowing that is a higher percentage than what I am used to. I also alternate the retinol from Neogen and Faded from Topicals, I personally don’t like the smell at all since it’s a bit strong, but as long as it gives me results, I don’t mind it. The ALO + NAG 2% retinol is also one of my favorites I like how I can use it twice a day, so it speeds up the process of getting rid of the texture in my skin!
