My Nail Growth Journey (Over a year)

Before my wedding in 2022, I wanted to start growing out my nails so they could look nice for pictures. I started with short, damaged, ripped up nails and flaky nail beds.

My nail tech started me on luminary and it helped so much! The base layer strengthened my nails so I could go weeks without breaking or ripping my nails, and apart from a few setbacks, the growth has been consistent and so appreciated!

She has been so good listening to what I want with nail art and shaping, and length. I like a more almond/rounded nail and lots of fun color and designs! She also didn’t make me feel weird about wanting black and silver nails for my wedding 😅

No one ever believes me when I say that my nails aren’t press ons, but I grew them myself! It took over a year but I’ve finally learned how to take care of them without any issues between appointments. (4 weeks)
