10 LOCAL brands to check out🇸🇬❤️

I feel like local brands don't get enough credit esp when SG consumers are so hard to please. We're pretty globalised so we have quite high standards as to what makes a good product since we have access to try so many things. Overconsumption is so big in SG (ironic for me to be sharing good stuff to try tbh!😂)

Here are 10 brands I've grown a liking to, and would love to share with you guys!

🥰 SKINCARE

1️⃣ @NACE Skincare

I previously tried our their lightweight moisturiser and it was super nice to use! Read my review here

I also really liked that the founder was open to my honest review and is constantly trying to improve the product

2️⃣ Lazy Shark

Just found out about this brand not long ago and looove the idea of minimising the number of products we use. I looove simple skincare! Would love to try this soon~ lemme know if you've tried it before!!!

3️⃣ POSTCARD (previously known as Oasis: The Beauty Kitchen) @OASIS 🛁🧼🌸

Could not go to their rebranding event sadly:( but!!! the brand is all about good, quality ingredients and sustainability. As someone who overconsumes, I think it's a really refreshing idea and honestly learning about the brand made me wanna rethink my consumption habits🤣

4️⃣ @Sigi Skin

This brand has been making its rounds online recently and I didn't know they are local?! I've heard pretty good reviews of this brand esp the anti acne serum!!!! And love that it's safe even for pregnant and nursing mothers. Not that that's relevant to me but... it just feels that much better that I'm not putting weird chemicals onto my skin🤣

5️⃣ Empath (by Naomi Neo!)

I think local beauty standards having been increasing endlessly. Empath focuses on feeling good about YOURSELF, being the best version of yourself and being empowered to seek personal improvements. I completely resonate with this brand and wish I was exposed to these values when I was younger. NGL they sent PR but this post is completely unsponsored!!! Find out more here 🥰

6️⃣ Purest Co

I honestly did not buy into the whole supplement thing till I saw my sister (and her friend) eat the glow drink for a month. Their skin was overall so much more manageable so I bought 2 boxes to try for myself! Will def share the results (& taste!) after I complete a month's course!😋

7️⃣ Good Addition

GA has some pretty good modern wardrobe staples that can make good repeatable work outfits that aren't that noticeable🤣 A little pricey but staples are always worth the investment. Can't decide which to cart out tho!🤣

8️⃣ @Aphy Active

Honestly been trying my very best not to splurge on this... ESPECIALLY the socks🤣 why is everything on Aphy Active SO CUTE😭😭😭 I encourage everyone reading this to check them out yourself. From what I know, this is a local brand birthed by 2 amazingly talented SG girlies who have consistently put out the cutest things since the first drop. LOVE.

9️⃣ KETOJIAK

Special shoutout to this... NDP has never been about the parade or SG for me TBH... My impression and memory of NDP always revolved around my family and being able to share one special public hol evening with them. Shouting out Ketojiak because of what this brand has brought to me and my family - the rare opportunity to share a dessert in a family with diabetics. Read my review here

🔟 @Yasumi Coffee

I tried their coffee beans once and LOVED it. They have a coffee subscription available, meaning fresh beans! What I actually really really love from this brand is their Gentle Morning cup. It's literally the PERFECT size and my iced drinks stay cold for more than 4hours, and the ice inside doesn't melt?!! I've been using it EVERY DAY since I got it🤣 It also doesn't slide on tables or leave water condensation which is such a huge plus. Another tip is to put your BBT cups inside to keep your BBT cold for longer!🧋🧊
