anyone thrift at their vacation destination?

I love to pop into thrift shops everywhere I go! They sometimes support local charities so that’s a nice way to give back, I think. And you can get a bit of a feel for a community. In the past year I discovered a certain style of shirt that's close to ""Hawaiian"" and started shopping for them on eBay. Then I found Goodwill of Hawaii listing nice similar items, some borderline collectible, for 1/3-1/2 of original price. I imagine the hotbed of Hawaiian shirts must be Hawaii lol...

I've also gotten good eBay deals on high end outdoor wear from the Pacific Northwest, parts of which are wealthy and vacation areas.
