Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken in Washington DC

Came across this South-African/Portuguese chicken spot while in DC and I heard good things about it so I had to try! I got to try the Peri-Peri bowl and Peri-Peri wings with all the different sauces. If you think you know spice, you definitely have to try all the sauces out! They have a little bar with them so you can add them on to your food. My favorite was the lemon herb sauce, I probably went through a whole one of their bottles! This location was in Dupont Circle but they are located all throughout Washington DC. The food here was pretty good and a great option if you want to eat healthy as well. Unfortunately, the service missed the mark as we were seated upstairs where no one else was and our table pretty much was almost forgotten about.
