Mixing Matte and Dewy foundation together for the

Two of my favorite foundations I have used are Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation, and the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation. However, if you have used either of these, the Estee Lauder foundation is matte, while Armani Beauty is dewy.

I have combination skin, so whether my skin is dry or oily really depends on the environment I’m in. I decided to test out if I could mix these two foundations together to get the best of both worlds.

First, it’s important to figure out if these are water-based or oil-based since if they are made of different components, they might not mix well.

Luckily, my two foundations are both water-based so I mixed them together on the back of my hand. Then, I applied the mixed foundation to my skin with a beauty blender since I wanted more of a flawless finish than a full coverage look.
