Art in Buffalo NY!

Another stop I made in my solo trip to Buffalo NY… Buffalo AKG Art Museum

👍Pros:

I had an amazing experience at the AKG Art Museum in Buffalo NY. I am not an art student and do not have much knowledge about art but the staff at the admission desk were very welcoming and friendly. I loved the ability to download their app and listen to information about the artists and pieces. The audio is adorable banter between friends much like a podcast. I would recommend setting aside more time then you think you’ll need this place is huge and I needed about 4 1/2 hours to explore and enjoy it. There is cozy benches along the way to sit and enjoy the work, I listened to a lofi playlist in between provided audio. The architecture of the building alone is amazing. I started in the Gundlach building and as recommended to me by the front desk I did floors 1, 3, then 2. Floor 2 has the glass bridge to the next buildings. “Free Fridays” admission is whatever donation you would like, suggested amount was $10. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area, it was really enjoyable don’t forget to check out the mirror room!
