cute japanese cafe in JB!

JB is known for their really cute and aesthetic cafes so my friends and i were so excited to check them out! we were actually headed to Nimmies Cafe, but it was really popular and the wait time was 1 hour. we decided to take a walk down the street and passed by this cute and modern cafe, so we decided to have a little snack here first!

its a Japanese cafe with aesthetic modern furniture and glassware (taking inspo for my apartment)

everything on the menu looked sooo good, i was kinda bummed that we were not having a full meal at this cafe💔

i ordered the Cha Cha Yuzu (RM16/S$4.67) which was basically matcha with yuzu! its pretty expensive (for malaysia prices) but def worth it for the ambience and vibe of the space. id rate the drink a 6/10, it had a very unique taste but i did feel that the yuzu was quite overpowering. the drink was really pretty tho and it looked exactly like the picture on the menu

we ordered the edamame to share and it was not bad – 7/10! it was really garlic-y but not salty enough, so we had to add on more salt on our own. after adding salt it was a lot better! the dish was a good sharing snack

i definitely wanna come back to try the mains! this cafe is pretty expensive but super aesthetic
