PROM FIT UNDER $50⭐️

many prom dresses online are super costly, ranging from $100-$300 (or more😱) as a student i know many of us cant afford to spend that amount on a dress that we’d probably only wear once :/ heres how i got my whole prom outfit for less than $50!

the theme for my prom was Paris Fashion Week🤍

Denim ruffled corset dress $15

— the brand is vintage Guess :p

— i got this from carousell which is the BEST place to shop on a budget. trust me there are soo many hidden gems on the app. the key is to search used keywords and specific terms and scroll as much as u can!! i scrolled for many hours before chancing on the listing of this dress. you can also negotiate with the seller (reasonably ofc) and communicate to see whats the best deal they can offer :)

— i chose this dress instead of the regular long fancy dresses bcos i felt that i would have more opportunities to wear this for other events! to make my money’s worth👍🏻 and also buying vintage items from carou would mean theres a less likely chance that anyone else would have the same dress as u… 🫣

— took a few weeks to arrive, if u are ordering anything online (esp from ali) do make sure to order way in advance to ensure that it arrives in time

Rhinestoned necklace $2

— i thrifted this from lucky plaza level 6

— super lucky find!!! looks so expensive but it was really just $2😭 crazyyy

— tbh u could possibly thrift a prom dress as well! would be even cheaper than carousell~
