Ingredients:
Strawberries
Almond bark or any chocolate that’s works for you
Golden Oreos
Strawberry crème wafers
Chocolate melter
Parchment paper or wax paper
strawberry prep:
*Wash strawberries with warm water, baking soda and vinegar or with warm water and veggie wash in a nice size bowl
*drain the strawberries
*fully dry the strawberries off with napkins
* place them on wax paper or parchment paper
*insert toothpicks at the top of the strawberry ( I use two for bigger strawberries)
Melting the almond bark or chocolate :
* I have the Wilton’s candy melting pot . I turn it on the highest setting
* break half of the almond bark or chocolate, place in the pot to melt . If you need to add more you can
* make sure to constantly stir to avoid burning and chunks
how to make the crunch:
* the amount of Oreos and wafers depend on how many strawberries you want to make
* use a knife to scoop the cream out of the golden Oreos
* place them in a bowl
* place the strawberry crème wafers in the bowl with the golden Oreos
* you can use a grinder or blender to crush and mix them together or if you don’t have either place them in a plastic bag and smash it
Preparing them:
* dip the strawberry into the chocolate , either shake off any excess chocolate or scrape it off
* either sprinkle the crunch or place the strawberry into the crunch until desired look , this has to be done quickly to avoid the chocolate from hardening
* place on wax or parchment paper to harden
* place in fridge to cool
