Book Review | Daughter of the Pirate King

✨ Daughter of the Pirate King does genuinely give off Pirates of the Caribbean vibes. I loved that part.

✨ The torture in this book was brutal. Even for me at times as an adult. I can acknowledge it was sometimes a lot. I was stressed reading a few parts.

✨ She was cunning and brave. Incredibly smart and ready to do what needed to be done.

✨ I loved that they didn't really hide that she was part siren but it does really seem like she is scared if it & probably was.

✨ There were so many aspects to that which were intriguing and I really wanted to know more. Constantly I found myself asking when we'd know more. It was actually very important to the book.

✨ I think that the tension was great but also very annoying because it's YA so it's obviously not going anywhere, I think if the author re-wrote the books and made an adult version, it would be SO good.
