Book Review | The Housemaid

⭐️ Reading The Housemaid felt a lot like revisiting Verity. It has the same exact vibes coming from it.

⭐️ The biggest difference is the wife is known to be mobile, even if she's obviously actively crazy too.

⭐️ You also find a big secret about the Housemaid, hence the title.

⭐️ I did feel like the end was a bit out of the ballpark, as in, why was that how the story went?

⭐️ Once it's wrapped up you can pick up the pieces but again, it was a little odd.

⭐️ I can't say this is my favorite Freida McFadden book but if you're getting into her books it may be more your speed, or, you're looking for something with Verity vibes.

⭐️ Around the middle of the book, you do get the wives POV which until the end pits you even further against her. When added to the FMC's POV is very intricate and does begin to unravel where it's going.
