Book Review | Assistant to the Villain

🐸 So, yes. Assistant to the Villain is super duper cringy and it is very much dry humor but I loved it.

🐸 I was raised on The Princess Bride and it very much reminds me of that kind of humor.

🐸 There are bits of it that may also read as Adams Family. I don't want to give it away but when the Villain is having a bad day, well things happen.

🐸 Also, no. He's not really a villain. More of a Robin Hood. He goes after the bad guys.

🐸 This is slow burn romantasy and is supposed to be adult but can read very juvenile.

🐸 Evie did not get her turn with the braincell until well into the book which did get annoying but it was still funny to me and my friend group.

🐸 Frankly, I don't know how I didn't see the ending coming but I did not. I think I was having to much fun with the idiotic jokes and adventure but hey.
