May Week in my Life 🍃

What have you been up to this week? 🌤️

It felt so nice to get out of the house. We had a long, wet winter that felt like it was never going to end, and now, with the return of the warmth and bright green leaves, I truly feel alive again. 🌳

I’ve been reading Lord of the Rings and enjoying various herbal teas recently, a way to reduce my screen time & my caffeine intake. The mornings have been quite cool and great for walks, but by midday it’s hot and stagnant outside, making me a bit nervous for summertime. I’ve been trying to do yoga every morning, and I’m hoping to implement regular exercise into my routine too, mostly just for fun and to feel less stiff, but I can never find the time. Hopefully summer inspires me to be more active than I already am, as keeping up with my pup is already exhausting! 🌞🌱

I’ve gotten back into writing and making art, but that’s been a slow process, too. Life isn’t always as streamlined as we’d like it to be, but learning to let things come and go as they please has been an important lesson for me. Things aren’t perfect, and that’s okay! I hope you’re all well & please stay nice and cool as the temperatures climb. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 🧊🌺🫙
