Some mornings you may only have time & motivation for a bowl of cereal, which is totally valid. But on the days you feel a hop in your step, take the extra time to eat with your eyes first, and beautify some simple, classic breakfast recipes!

Choose fresh ingredients, like fruits and vegetables, but allow yourself to indulge occasionally too! Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring, it just needs to be filling. I hope you find inspiration in the recipes I came up with! My recipes are all made with gluten free bread, however you can obviously opt for regular bread!

• Honeyed strawberries on peanut butter toast 🍓

Toast a gluten free bun, then slather it in all natural crunchy peanut butter. Rinse, dry and carefully slice 3-4 strawberries, gently arranging them on your toast. Finish with a drizzle of 100% pure honey or swap it for agave syrup if honey isn’t a part of your diet!

• Smoked salmon, cucumber, & cream cheese bagel 🥯

Toast a gluten free bagel and spread both sides with whipped cream cheese. Rinse, dry and thinly slice your cucumber for one half. I seasoned mine with salt, pepper, chili powder, and sesame seeds. Then, put a sheet or half sheet of smoked salmon on the other bagel. Easy peasy!

• Cinnamon-caramel-pecan waffles 🍯

Toast a premade gluten free bagel, or make them fresh! Spread with butter, then drizzle with caramel sauce (either store bought or homemade.) Crush a handful of lightly salted pecans in your fist and sprinkle all over. Finish with as much cinnamon powder as you prefer!

• Crunchy kale salad + fruit 🥬

Wash & massage your kale with olive oil, sea salt and ACV (or you can totally skip the massaging step!) Dress your salad with your favorite dressing and nuts. I chose ranch, but you can totally opt for something healthier. I also chose lightly salted pepitas, but sunflower seeds, almonds or walnuts would taste great too! Last, choose one or two fruits to eat on the side, or toss them in your salad too!
