🇰🇷 michelin star restaurant: is it worth it 🤔🤔🤔

i tried this highly raved michelin star restaurant at myeongdong but is it really worth the hype???

we went in at 12.20pm on a wednesday afternoon and were lucky to get a seat without having to queue. by 12.30pm, long queues were starting to form so do be there early!!!

there were only 3 items on the menu and we got one of each. note that you have to order at least one item per person! we got the mandu (12000 KRW), kalguksu (11000 KRW) and bibim guksu (11000 KRW)

the mandu (dumplings) contained pork and leek with sesame oil. it was really good and definitely worth a try!!!

the kalguksu (knife cut noodles) was comforting on a cold day but nothing too special. in fact, those from the markets or other restaurants were much nicer

the bibim guksu (spicy noodles) were cold the spiciness was too overpowering. not recommended.

tldr: dumplings are worth a try but you can give the noodles a skip!
