✨💐🏠Cottage Core Cafe in SG that's worth the hype!

went to this newly opened cafe at Bali Lane (right next to Haji Lane) called Cafe Margaret over the weekends ;)

💐 Aesthetic tips:

the aesthetic of this place would be a little more on cottage core vibes plus vintage-y, reminds me of Sophie's workshop in Howls moving castle kinda vibe

✨would recommend wearing more floral clothing w a bit of lace detailing, if not wearing more neutral/earth tones work too for a great pic! ✨️🤎🫶🏻

my friend got their matcha latte & I opted for their cafe latte dolce, we both shared a lemon cake that looks so aesthetically pleasing IT LOOKS FAKE!!

now onto the ratings~

🍵Matcha latte: 4/5

matcha taste was really strong which is good for people who like the strong taste of matcha, would say its stronger tasting than matcha latte at sbucks, good balance of sweetness too!

☕️Cafe latte dolce: 4/5

as a frequent consumer of coffee/latte I would say it tasted pretty decent, with it not being too sweet (I prefer less sweet coffee) and the coffee is fragrant too!!

🍋Lemon cake: 4/5

I think it wins for aesthetic, taste wise it's a little dry but not enough for me to complain ahahah there are bits of dried lemon/orange inside the cake so the smell and taste of lemon is really delivered whew, not too sour too with frosting on top

💰 Price

price of food & drinks are around $7-$9 sgd depending on what you get but I would still think this place is worth a visit or two for a more unique vibe that's not minimalistic and good bakes!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
