The Arthurian Legend You Didn't Know You Needed

Good day to you, friends and dreamers! It's a gorgeous fall day here and I'm absolutely living for the changing of the leaves! Where I am, it's not uncommon for it to start snowing in September, so I'm enjoying the weather while I can!

I'm here today to talk about Silver In the Bone, the zombie + magic + King Arthur/ Avalon story you didn't know you needed (or maybe even existed). When I saw that Alexandra Bracken had written a book with a sword on it, and with the title Silver in the Bone, I had no idea what it was about, and went in blind, as I do.

Well. It's a story about an unmagical girl in a world of magic in a profession of stealing magical items. Add a mentor betrayal and BOOM, she becomes one half of a hardcore thief duo, and sets out to solve her brother's curse, best her rival, and steal the greatest mythological treasure the world's ever seen...
