How To Save Money On Gardening

I wanted to start my gardening a little earlier this year. I waited too late in the season last year. The only problem with starting early that I have found is that there are less deals on plants so the cost is a little bit higher. In order to save money I started with some seeds. They were super inexpensive only like a dollar or so per bag. I planted them a couple weeks ago and they have already started growing

I shopped the clearance section and there is definitely more selection later in the season. However, I found these hydrangeas that were brown but it only took a day for them to perk back up and they were half the price than buying the ones that looked healthy

I also bought Asiatic lilies that have not grown very big yet so were also half the price of the taller ones but I am hoping they will grow quickly. I was able to get two shorter ones for the price of one full grown one.
