Stephen King Books

These are some of my favorite Stephen King books I’d recommend to anyone to read.

🎡 JOYLAND - I love this one, a sweet tale about growing up with a ghost story in between. This one to me feels the least like Stephen King in terms of his famous spooky vibes but this is one of my all time favorites.

🏔️ THE SHINING - One of Kings best. Haunted hotel, isolation, a descent into madness. I’ve read this one four or five times now and this really King at his best.

🤑NEEDFUL THINGS - This one is THICK but it is so good. A lot of people criticize it for being a little silly but that’s what makes it stand out for me.

🪓 MISERY - Iconic. All the action begins immediately and Annie Wilkes is a top tier villain.

🤡 IT - And finally, IT. Another thick one but holds a special place in my heart as this was the one who opened the door to Kings Dominon for me.

I still have a lot more in his catalogue to get through but these are definitely my favorites and recs.
