Are you team chrome?

I’ve been waiting all summer to finally get the chance to try chrome nails. All my friends have been doing it and I’ve seen it all over this app, so I found my nail inspo and was so excited to try it.

My goal was to find a mix between a purple and pink look while still having a soft bright color. I wasn’t going for anything neon but I do love a little pop of color. I thought adding the chrome would make this more subtle but still give the color it’s chance to pop through. When my nail technician added the chrome it ended up covering my entire nail color. It now has a more white tone than purple or pink.

I think next time that I go to the salon I most likely won’t go get chrome again. I am thinking that if you want the color to be subtle maybe do a colored chrome? But as far as white chrome I think that this took away the entire color that I wanted!

Do you guys use chrome a lot? And if you do- how do you use it, is it white chrome or colored?
