$65 Weekly Grocery Haul

This week I was really under budget for groceries. I was sick last week so we didn’t eat a lot of the meals I planned. I spent $35 at Aldi and $29 at Food Lion.

Fruits & Veggies:

Strawberries- $2.15

Baby Spinach- $2.89

Fresh Green Beans- $1.75

Roma Tomatoes (0.65lbs @$0.85lbs)- $0.95

Dairy & Meat:

Milk- $3.89

Half & Half- $2.79

Grated Parmesan- $2.95

Ground Beef- $3.99

New York Strip Steak- $9.51

Pork Chops- $5.43

Shredded Parmesan- $2.19

Pantry:

Oatmeal- $3.95

Mini Canada Dry- $5.50

Pepsi- $4.99

Cereal- $2.15

Peanut Butter- $1.95

Mac & Cheese- $2.35

Mashed Potatoes- $0.95

Baked Potato Chips- $2.89

Subtotal- $63.77

Tax @1.000%- $0.63

Total- $64.40

Sometimes when I’m listing out the prices I’m astounded by how much some things have gone up. I remember paying $1.99 for that container of oatmeal and those mashed potato packets used to be 50 cents. It’s just gotten crazy.
