A fun mommy/daughter girls day idea • Painting with a Twist! This was such a fun day.

Olivia is 7 & a little budding artist so i knew this would be a hit. We browsed our options to find a fun kid-friendly painting & landed on this adorable neon dolphin.

We decided to make a day of it ✨ kicked it off with Starbucks (of course) then headed to the studio. They broke down each step for the girls, who were all around the same age, played fun music & even a trivia game. And then of course we got to keep our paintings! We capped off the day with ice cream at her request.

As a full-time working mom of 2 with kids in sports & other activities, our schedule just doesn’t usually allow as much time for fun 1-on-1 days as we’d like. But we’re working to be better at intentionally scheduling activities like this.
