dye my hair with me! cherry red edition 🍒

Got really bored of my hair colour so i decided to get some box dye to dye my hair to cherry red colour! Before dyeing my hair, I did some research on xiaohongshu and i heard many good reviews about the misc en scene bubble hair dye in sahara rose pink!

My main concern for red hair was that, “Will red hair make me look yellow? What if it makes me look old?” “What to wear to make my outfit complement my red hair?” “What colour will red hair fade to?” Which is why I decided to play safe and just dye 1 box first so that i will know how i look with red hair, and I love how it turned out! However within a month my hair colour faded really fast from red to brown….. so there we go… another box HAHAHHA

After dyeing the second box, I was still satisfied with how my hair colour turned out! The hair colour also lasts longer which im so glad it did! So i would suggest you guys to get 2 boxes! But dont dye 2 boxes at once! It can be abit drying for your hair so maybe you could wait for 3-7 days later before dyeing the second box!

thoughts on the hair dye 🤔💭

1. i feel that the dye is rather drying - but is understandable as box dye tends to be more damaging as compared to salon hair dye and it can be solved with using hair oil (on a daily basis) and also hair mask (3 times per week (if your hair is slightly damaged!!)

2. really like how the colour turn out and i would say its a success! however, if you want the colour to be more long lasting, 2 boxes of hair dye is reccomended! (esp for those who have dark hair colour!)

3. didnt really like the salon hair pack that was given in the box dye - it is supposedly a hair mask however i dont find it moisturising for my hair at all, recommended to use your own hair mask!

And also to all the people who are still contemplating to dye your hair red, its your sign to do it now!!! 🤪
