Saving $1000 is easier than you think

I believe when someone is trying to save $1000, they struggle it seems like a lot upfront. However, pre-planning around your pay schedule and making smaller contributions makes it easier.

In my post, i provide examples of bi-weekly and bi-monthly since those are common pay schedules. However, the math is really easy.

$ yearly savings goal / number of paychecks = contribution per pay check

Pay schedules

Weekly = 52 paychecks

Bi-weekly = 26 paychecks

Bi-monthly = 24 pay checks

Monthly = 12 paychecks
