Cinnamon Brown Sugar Banana Muffins

Don’t let those bananas go to waste🍌

Found a good base/inspiration on here and put a little twist on it.

Preheat oven 375

Grease muffin pans

Topping:

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 room temp butter

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

mash together with potato masher until crumbled

Muffins:

1 1/2 sticks of room temp butter

1 cup light brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

dash nutmeg

4 ripe bananas mashed

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp of salt

1 tsp vanilla paste (or extract)

2 cups of flour

Mix butter, brown sugar and spices together

Add mashed bananas, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla until combined

Add in flour; mix well

Use 1/4 measuring cup to fill in muffin and put good amount of crumble on top

Bake for 20 mins on middle or bottom rack; no more than 25.

Let them rest in pan for 5 mins then transfer to cooling racks.
