Home Makeover: Sunroom Edition

One of the first “bigger” projects we tackled last year was our sunroom. It was this awful yellow on red brick.

The first thing we did was white wash the brick. We probably end up fully painting it white when the house is finished, but I love the peaks of original brick.

Next we wanted the room to really feel like it was outdoors, and make looking outside seem more seamless. We picked a green color to compliment the natural beauty and went to town painting and cleaning the walls.

Next was bringing in some texture. We have an egg chair, layered rugs, and added some sheer curtains.

Done!

In all this project costs around $200 with plenty of materials and paint left over, so technically it is cheaper?

Does anyone else hate it when people prorate the entire cost of a project? I for one am in that camp!
